The industrial hemp plant contains 120 naturally occurring, active compounds called cannabinoids. Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of these compounds found in the hemp plant. Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the most well-known cannabinoid and is associated with marijuana’s psychoactive properties.
